Red sky at night - Shepherd's delight as the old saying goes. Once when this community was a farm it might well have applied, but there are not very many sheep farms in Ontario, mostly dairy cattle and crops.
The evening that I took this shot, the sky was absolutely beautiful, it changed colour every few minutes from gold to red and blue, to purple. It was one of the best sunsets I have ever seen for colour. We do get nice sunsets in our wide open skies around here, they vary greatly according to cloud and weather, but we are quite often treated to ao nice picturesque sunset.

This is quite a remarkable sky. Any post-processing done to enhance the colors? Nice composition. I would've liked less grain on the houses. Just their silhouettes would've worked well. Nice work!

Bonjour Joan, un beau ciel d'apocalypse où le rouge et le bleu se mélangent avec bonheur.
Belle prise de vue et beau traitement.

...Red sky in the morning, sailors warning.

What a fabulous sky. The clouds are so thick and close together. I bet you ran inside to get your camera for this one. The colours are gorgeous. Well done Joan.

A sunset like I've never seen one before, Joan... what excellent colours you've captured here. The cloud layer seems to have an all-nature emboss filter applied to it ;o). TFS.

The range of colors on the sky are magnificient...Excellent work...

Los colores son verdaderamente espectaculares. Bravo.
¿Que tal quedaría una foto con el cielo solamente?.

That so it would be left a photo with the sky only?.

Fantastic colours! I have never seen such a colourful sky. Great picture.
I would have cropped the bottom some more to remove the cars.
Again, superb sky.
