[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Had to post one more from my incredible day athe Poppy Preserve near Lancaster, California. These are backlit poppies which I underexposed 2 stops in the camera. I then raised the levels a bit to bring back more highlight color.

I had to lay flat on the ground for this POV.

Very excellent David. Love the fact that you laid down to achieve this great composition and pov. The lighting on this photo is very very nice and the sky is such a great tone to compliment the poppies tone.
It is a very beautiful photo David. My favorite so far out of the poppy series/posts.

I might of cloned out the small branches in the upper right corner to see how that worked with the composition.

Did you experiment some more with the jpeg compressions? Just wandering what you came up with and if the info helped in some manner. This one looks great by the way!

It's good for you, laying flat on the ground, see the result, it's excellent ! A very good sharpness and the colours are beautiful. A clear shot and a good angle, David !

wow, this one is simplemente amazing!
Nice contrast between the colors. I like this angle of shoot. People usually tend to shoot the flowers from the above, but this angle provides a different and more original view. good work, David.

Beautiful colors and great composition. The lighting is great and I like the perspective from which you've shot this. The poppies look like glass the way you've captured them.

Great composition David, I love the colors and the flow of the orange, superb range of focus and D.O.F., and fabiolus highlights on the Poppies.

We have a similar area at the valley of Damavand Mountain (highest peek in Iran). I will try to send you some of the pictures as soon as I go there...
