[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring has sprung, and with it a burst of colours. This is a cherry blossom tree in my garden. When I went into the hospital last weekend, it was only just begining to show it's buds. Now it is in full bloom, making a beautiful backdrop in the garden.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I did upon seeing it.
Happy Spring everyone.
Thanks for stopping by, please let me know what you think of this picture, good or bad, I would love to hear from you.
Ciao,
Liz

Wonderful pink notes in this photo!! All those colours and the lush vegetation are a feast to the eyes. I like the division and the inclusion of two photos, the only thing that I could point out is that if in the top photo you didn't crop the flower it would look even better ;-) Great detail and sharpness, we can even see the drops of water. Well done Liz.
Ana

Thanks for bringing some color into our days. It is wonderful, great colors, sharp. Good job.

Marleen

You have chance, here it is always the winter! Very beautiful assembly, just a small regret, that the flower of the top is cut a little! But it is splendid, very well imagined and maked!
Brazvo Liz!
Claude

Now I'm really envious; your spring has sprung. The top photo of the blossom would be great by itself. It's so sharp and clear. Lovely to see these flowers as we still have snow on the ground, and my daffs are buried underneath, somewhere. I think the frame is a bit to thick for such a delicate flower. IMHO. You have a lovely garden Liz.

I like the combination of the colors...Shapes and sharpness are impressive.

I think the outer frame's colour doesn't really fit in , and the frame's too wide, Liz. But this is compensated by the beauty of both pictures. I especially like the top one, it's an excellent flower macro. Nice colours, and that's what we need over here... TFS.

Liz,
very nice composition, colors and sharpness -
Thanks
Take care

Gaby

Beautiful photos of your lovely garden, the single bloom is exquisite. How lucky you are to be having spring flowers already. I like both photos, but I would have assembled them differently. Somehow is looks a little top-heavy to me. I would have cropped some of the green from the lower photo and cropped a bit on the right to square it up a bit moren and then i would have superimposed the single bloom right in the middle. If I get chance I will do a workshop. The only problem is that the photos I will have to work with will be so tiny. Great shot and goo colour and clarity.

Liz, just beautiful. I adore cherry blossoms. I think I'd like to see the top picture on its own. Try one with all the petals showing.
Very well done. TFS.
Oh dear, this means our autumn is coming to NZ. What a shame.

very nice colors Liz...lucky you spring allready !! for the picture i like the composition and colors bur for the cropping I wouldn't have cropped the upper side of the petals here ..nevertheless a great early spring picture !!

Bonjour Liz. Une merveille ces cerisiers du Japon. Ma commune est réputée pour ceux-ci, mais chez nous on sort à peine de l'hiver et ils ne sont pas encore en fleurs. Ta composition est très jolie. Amitié, Patty.

Lovely to see spring has arrived for you, it is on its way here but we don't have the beautiful colours you have. Great composition love the large and small view of the blossom. TFS

Peter

A lovely double picture.
I agree with saintclaude about the top of the picture, But that's the only thing. Colors, composition are very good.

This makes me long for spring as we are still surrounded by snow where I live. I love the details of the bloom on the top picture with the wider view of your garden in the bottom picture. Quite well done. TFS

Wonderful collage Liz! Les couleurs sont magnifiques et vos photos sont d'une excellente netteté. Le choix du cadrage convient parfaitement.
P.S. I am jalous of your early spring in BC...

Excelent shot of the blooms. Well presented and composed. Excelent work.

Mike

You have presented the colour and beauty of spring so well. Great idea to put the two photos together. I love the little water droplets on the blossom - the image captures the "freshness" of springtime.
