Summer Colour

I love colour in the garden. These are a few of my favorite plants from the garden. Flowers brighten my day and I hope they brighten yours too.

I captured these beauties during the evening when the sun was low. I find that during mid day the light is to harsh and the colours don't show up as well.

Hello Janice. Lovely flowers and beautiful colours. Yes I do agree with the midday light and this case waiting until the evening gave very good results. Nicely composed picture. Thanks :-)

Beautiful shot! The yellow and blue colors contrast nicely in this light! Excellent composition with these flowers making a nice triangle and diagonal line. Very nicely done! Annie

Hi Janice, the blue lobelia really stands out yet complements the yellow flowers.I agree, we need our flowers to brighten our days.
You had a decent light to show off your flowers,was surprised that you did not need to use flash.
