Esta foto foi tirada na Serra do Alvão, Parque Natural do Alvão, que se encontra entre Celorico de Basto e Vila Real, a Norte de Portugal. Obviamente, não é um Parque de grande extensão mas possui uma grande área de carvalhal e uma fantástica diversidade de flora, e para quem gosta: cogumelos. O seu ponto mais alto é a 1350m.
O dia desta foto estava particularmente interessante: um imenso nevoeiro a envolver os carvalhos e toda a vegetação. Muito místico, só faltavam duendes e companhia.

This photo was taken off in the Mountain of Alvão, Natural Park of the Alvão, that if finds between Celorico de Basto and Vila Real, in the North of Portugal. Obviously, it is not a Park of great extension but it possesss a great area of oaks and a fantastic flora diversity, and for who it likes: mushrooms. Its higher point is 1350m. The day of this photo was particularly interesting: an immense fog to involve the oaks and all the vegetation. Very mystic, they only lacked dwarfs and friends.

Very nice composition, soft colors and patterns. The fog effect give a nice lookig at the background. I really like it.

A pity it's grainy and some details and colors show not good scan... But the rest is great - the place, framing, POV, colors (I can imagine them in reality ;-) Very special scenery - it overcomes not so good quality.
