[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Along the roadside in Northern Mozambique you often come across piles of crushed stone, the type you use to make concrete slabs etc.

Every now and then you will find these guys busy crushing the rock and they shure put on a spectacle for you.

Oh man, that is hard work. Your subject is excellent but the post-processing work, especially on the background, gives an artificial appearance to the image. Great power-conveying pose.

Wow. . . . powerful image. Love the effects too. The "halo" around his head is a bit distracting. You need a little better pp work to make the background recede properly. Well done in any event.

Excellent technique. It looks as if the person is coated with a thin metallic layer. Full of impact! Good tonal range. Strong compositional elements working well together. Goodly!!!

Excellent PP work JAco whatever you did. Superb tones and I love that expression. TFS,
Dave

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Laughing Kookaburra’

Hoi Jaco,

I like the image, with an intense expression. The PP on the man is also nice, but it does not fit with the background. The borders around the face where the background is also lighter does not help to make it realistic.

TFS,
Pedro
