[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the Columbia River Gorge looking East from Indian Point. It took several hours of hiking up very steep terrain to reach this wonderful viewpoint. The bad part was the cliffs on each side of the trail were 1000+ feet straight down, and the trail was rocky and VERY narrow. One slip here would mean certain death. Good thing I was CAREFUL! We hiked a total of 9 miles in 7.5 hours due to the steep terrain, but were rewarded with numerous fungi, trees, and a few great viewpoints!

You did a great job of stitching these together, if that's what you did. I've never tried that, amazing what you can do with photoshop sometimes! Super cool photo....where are we going next?

Another nice shot Julie, it is so beautiful. Just wonderful, those time you spend on hiking really worth it after seeing all these shots. Good composition and great colours. Well done, thanks for sharing

Hello Julie!

I noted you were with Laurie that day. Lovely panorama. Trekking in the mountains is fun as long as youhave a nice panorama on the summit. I was badlucky a few times ending up in the clouds , having to spot the next pile of stone each time I reached one !
Great work! TFS, :D
Have a nice Day!
Robert
