This is my japanese spitz, Sammie. She is my baby and my best friend. She has been a family member for 12 years know, still going strong, looking young!

The japanese Spitz is high-spirited, intelligent and playful dogs, and in her younger years she followed me everywhere, that includes riding tours, bicycle rides, shopping and more. And she never got tired or bored.

She was an easy lerner and can perform lots of tricks and have participated in some obedience contests and agility.
It is a big dog in a little dogs body.

On this particular photo, Sammie has taken the first bath of the year, in the sea outside Waxholm, and that explains her big smile.
Just had to share one of my best friends ever with you all :)

Hi Frida !!
It's nice you share your Sammy with us.
She's really looking young.
Photographed against the light, it is
a nice shot.

She is lovely, Frida. You could indeed not have asked for a better smile from her. The backlight makes her fur look really soft and fluffy, and also creates some fine sparkling reflections on the water in the background. I don't know that much about dogs, but she does look young for her 12 years. Thanks for sharing her photo with us :-)

nice capture the natural lighting/backlit is good and the I like the highlighted fur just above her eyes it looks like eyebrows which you never see on a dog.

bravo beau cliché bien rendu

Sammy is a very pretty dog and you have taken a great photo of her. She seems to be smiling for the camera! Nice job! I have done a workshop, see what you think. :)

The lighting from the back adds a special effect that highlights the fur around her head. She looks like a very cute dog indeed. Excellent shot.
It looks like a very authentic smile too!

I like Sammie, I am a fan of little dogs. I have a small schnautzer. On your photo, the lighting is very interesting, backlighting is always a trouble to handle. But you did it very well, the face of your friend is nice, sharp, and detailed. I love the light comming through his ears. All in alla, great shot Frida!

Hello Frida
everything should start with a big smile
,o)
