[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are from my garden. I've always called these Daffodills, but on reading up on these they can be called several different things. For this photo I held the camera down on the border wood and tilted it up toward these flowers. Adjusted levels and resized is all the PP I did.

About the Daffys (from Botany.com)

"The name Daffodil is commonly given to the Narcissus with large trumpets, but may be used for all types. The name Jonquil most properly belongs to the rush-leaved Narcissus jonquilla and its hybrids. In some parts of North America, it's used as a common name for all types of Narcissi."

Owww... bela foto. O contraste entre o amarelo da flor e o céu azul estão excelentes. Definição tambem está ótima.
Uma flor perfeita pra uma foto perfeita.
Parabéns

Wow. love it. The colours are amazing, the contrast is great. Well done :)

Hi Lori

Great colours you have. Spring is in the air.

All daffodils are narcissi, but not all narcissi are daffodils!. The flower is named after Narcissus in Greek legend ."Narcissus" comes from the Greek for "numbness" referring to the narcotic properties of the plant.

Well done

Steve

I have a theme group on red, white and blue. But when I see this, I almost feel like opening one for yellow, white and blue. It is amazing how those three colours match each other. And blue and yellow then make green which then flows in abundance at the bottom of the shot. A lovely spring shot taken from the right angle.

They are picture perfect - they would have been supremely so if not for the green tree (foilage) behind. With such an outstanding blue of sky as a background - these Daffodils would have literally stood out even more. However, the crispness of your capture more than compensates everything else. Brilliant work.

A lovely sight of Spring. It will be a little while to reach us in the north-east but it is certainly nice to see it in your flowers. The yellow and blue scheme is excellent and the clarity and focus in your shot makes it special. Very well done.

Nice sharp photo. I agree with the others who said the back ground was a bit distracting so I posted a workshop. It took me forever to get rid of it though.

In my part of the world, spring has began. It is not warm yet, nor are there any flowers blooming yet. As a matter of fact my gardens are still covered with at least 6 inches of ice-snow. However, your photograph is full of light, colour and the combination of the yellows and the blue makes it a hit. Way to go Lori Thanks
