[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first shot taken with my new 100-400 lens.
This fine old building surrounded by modern glass towers is in Queen Street, the main street of Auckland's CBD.
I liked the lens so much I bought it, and never regretted it.
PP; straightened verticals in Perspective.

I'm not surprised! What a superb shot. Utterly sharp, beautiful clarity. I've looked up at this parapet many times and wondered what it would be like to duck inside one day ... this shot is about as close as I'm likely to get.
Very nice work!

Nice shot...Nice contrast...

Hi Peter
I agree with Rew, the sharpness and clarity is really evident in your photo. You've got yourself a fine lens! It's always interesting to see the old architecture adjacent with the modern. Kind of give an architectural perspective of time. Another aspect of your composition I like is the matching vertical allignment in all architectures, this helps link all aspects of your composition and is very effective. Well done and TFS.

Hi Peter. This is very good with 100% sharpness. I like the juxstaposition of the old against the new building styles. TFS. Murray.

Hi Peter,
Interesting shot, I like the way they keep some of the old building and build glass monsters next to them, good colour, sharpness and detail.
