[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The background photograph was taken as fog rolled across a rest area on Mt Macedon, north west of Melbourne.

The finished image is a montage of two shots (one of the foggy rest area, the other of a flock of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos). The images were combined, and the contrast, colour and brightness levels altered using PS Elements.

I have a great passion for foggy scenes, and this one is extra special because of the insertion of the birds. Great idea. Love the composition, and the placement of the birds is perfect. Very, very well done.

yes, peter, this is a great foggy shot..i can never seem to find any foggy areas to photograph and i think that's why i'm drawn to these photos.
i love the color in this...it's perfect for the mood of the photo!
