[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an aerial shot of salt pans along the east shore of Salt Lake. The water flows into these areas, then is blocked off and allowed to evaporate. As the evaporation occurs, the salinity of the water increases and the color changes. Eventually there is no water, just white salts. Post-processing was limited to contrast adjustment & sharpening.

Absolutely beautiful aerial shot James. The composition and colors make this a true work of art. It is quite incredible.

J'adore le côté tres "moderne" de cette photographie.....
La composition de l'image crée un bel équillibre...
Bravo superbe!

Absolutely amazing the colors of nature, excellent shot, well done! TFS

Hi James,
The view of this aerial shot made for some really nice geometric patterns. The colors and soft and go well with each other. The composition and exposure looks good. Good!
Welcome to TL!
Richard

The colours are really fantastic and the geometric patterns created a great abstract composition. I am still amazed by all those soft pink hues, that look like a reflection. Great work, but mostly really original.
Ana

Looks like an art work, al those colours. Well done.

I never wood have gaessed what is was. I thought it could be a roof of something of mica.
Very sweet colours and a great composition.

This is an amazing picture. Before reading your note, I had no idea what it was, then I had to look again to see it was an aerial shot. I like your composition with all the lines in diagonal. Great shot!

My first impression from the thumbnail was that it was a macro photo from make-up colours! Then you amazed us again. Beautiful lines and colours! I look forward to seeing your next photo!!!

wow. simply beautiful. looks so abstract and "modern." colors and tones flow :)

This area is very familiar to me as I have spent many happy times in SLC and think I have a sunset over the Great Salt Lake taken atop Farmington Canyon in the first posting of my gallery here on TL...
You have traveled a lot and all your photos are truly very good. I especially like this one....:O)
