[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Metro Centre Station in Washington DC and obviously was originally in color. The orange was strong anyway, so i just made the rest black and white and lightened it a bit. I think the result works well and i like the perspective. It is a bit grainy now though.

The colors, POV and DOF is fantastic, this is excellent, well done!

I love view inside Metro-tram. Good idea and well done!

Russell,

I think the exposure and composition are excellent. Contrast is good too. As you note, it's a little grainy, which comes across to me as too soft in the focus. Sometimes that's a function of compression and sometimes a function of the editing process. I would be curious to find out of the original (non-BW) is sharper or not.

Either way, good job on this shot! Jim

I like the perspective and the angle of this shot. It makes me think of an action scene in a computer game. Good PP work. Félicitations!

I like this shot, I think the black and white and leaving one item in color is a strong effect that I've enjoyed playing with. Unfortunately I've not been able to get anything I like. If you ever want to reduce noise and grain in images, try using neat image, it's worked well for me. Just make sure you sharpen it a little afterwards as it can make things a bit fuzzy.

i like the PP work that u done here :)
keeping only the orange was a good idea for this image

That's an amazing shot..it's really well seen and also good choice of b&w to it.

TFS :)
