[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Morning all,
This was spotted outside the window next to my computer at home. I took five or six shots, all with the flash (which I don't normally like using - I can't seem to do it without washing out the subject) and this one is about the best of them.
Sharpened and converted to B & W (by taking the saturation right down).
Cheers, John.

This is pretty scary John. :-) Like your style, it's sure to spook a few arachnophobe Trekkies. Great work done here, good exposure and composition. The imagery reminds me of a scanning electron micrograph with the backlighting. Very effective technique and you've mastered it well here. Well done and thanks (I think) for the fright! You may like to check out some of my TL portfolio sometime. Cheers and TFS.

Hi John, was this taken at night? I like the dark background. It is quite sharp as well WHat were the original colours, have a llok on my Treknature site and I think you'll find on of the same species in colour, I'm not sure which type it is though. Cheers, Dad
