[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Through the tansluscent window glass. My daughter is the most reluctant model. Fortunatley she could not see me with the camera inside - though from her eyes it is obvious that she was desperately tryin to figure out. Fortunate for me I could get the right expression - right light and righ mood. The photograph is the way it was taken except for a small crop on top.

Very beautiful picture Mukesk. Very good lucky shot. Very well done. Sorry out of point for today.

She is beautiful!!!!! The picture is creative and really good!

i've always loved photographs through windows
, however to be honest this is not the best i've come across as yet. i'm speaking as someone who sees the world in black and white...

1. the glass here has more of a creepy effect than anything else. i cna't explain why i feel this.. maybe the effect is kind of accentuated around her eyes.. hmmm not sure..

2. i'd have done this one in black and white. since i love the application of chiaroscuro and i think it'd be quite fitting here. i's have overexposed it a bit more, to get have the light seeping inside through the window.

3. if not the above, then i'd have liked to have brought in some more context. i think this needed to be taken from maybe atleast a foot or 2 away from the window.

going back to my first point about getting a creepy feeling.. maybe it's because you were 2 close to her and this particulr glass pane is not suitable for what you tried to capture.

if you ever find a dirty/dusty window, then shoot through it capturing your subject with the sun on the opposite side. you imght like the result.. you could try it in black and white

before i leave.. here is a window photograph by one of my favourite photographers.

take care :)
