Part of Mine

Glacier Gorge Trail
Near Alberta Falls.
Rocky Mountain National Park
(from my last set of old digicam pics before I got my SLR)

So your flesh shall be part of mine
And part of mine be yours.
Brother and sister we shall be
Whose unity endures.
Always the sister doll will cry,
Made in these careful ways,
Cry on and on, Come back to me,
Come back, in a few days.
~ William Emspson - Chinese Ballad

When she was small Andrew was so violent we had to keep them very much apart. One of my greatest joys is that since Andrew has learned to control his violence she has forced herself into his world.

His life has shaped hers as well .. in some ways sorrowful and in some ways with great beauty.

My biggest fears are for them. I worry so much for their future ... once we are gone ... I fear for him .. I fear for the responsibility she and her little sister will bear ..

Thank you for this. I was feeling a bit down and after reading your note found out my problems where not that important.
Excellent capture.
I did a WS for you to match the image with the note.

Hello John,
This is a strange image, where the trail is leading into... don't know what!
The image is well composed with a good diagonal lead-in, attractive shades of green in the foliage...
A very fine and moody capture!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Superb! Like your autumn trail, this one holds secrets and messages. Here the future is still very much a mystery for the path disappears before it has left our range of vision.

Beautiful picture, the path is metaphoric, leading to the unknown future but the view on the way is interesting enough to keep you busy. And there should always be hope.

The way you share Andrew's story and your heart in the images you are posting here is both touching and eloquent. The connection we can see in this shot is profound, and it reaches out to touch us all. Amazing and beautiful. Thanks for the gift of sharing it with us.

I enjoy really much the way in the sun, how the plant stand up over them and curve over they as a protective wall! I enjoy the peace of it!

A lovely scene John with very nice light, a very nice notice too.
Cheers
Evan
