The girasole OR large sun, word borrowed from l'italien, which turns with the sun, is a large annual plant, pertaining to the family of Astéracées (Made up), whose flowers are grouped in large-sized flowerheads.
This plant is very cultivated for its seeds rich in oil (approximately 40 % of their composition) food of good quality. The sunflower is, with colza and l'olivier, l'une of the three principal sources d'huile food in Europe.

The higher face of the sheets of the young seedling of sunflower follow the sun throughout the day:
* at the beginning of morning, the young sunflowers are turned towards l'est;
* during the day, they follow the sun;
* in end d'après-midday, they look towards l'ouest.

And well, like the sunflower, with me, now, of mail aprés sun at least during 10 days.
Thus one finds oneself about September 15...!!!

A little d ecology :
L'huile of sunflower, like l'huile of colza, can be used directly like biocarburant in the diesel engines. Pure L'huile, contrary to the diesters, does not require any industrial process of manufacture. A simple press is enough. The sunflower is the plant which offers the best output (six times superior with the gazoil). The most ecological C'est also. No the rejection of suffers, 25% d'émission of derivatives nitrogenized in less, three times less CO2 rejected with combustion... [réf. necessary ] France could thus produce 10% to 20% of its needs with the sunflower and thus reduce 50 to 100% its CO2 emissions without influencing food l'agriculture.
Politically, l application of the TIPP with the HVP, voted at the end of 2006 by l'UMP, makes l'HVP of sunflower more expensive than the gazoil, thus leading the experiments in progress like that of Villeneuve on Lot (Batch & The Garonne), in contradiction with the European directives preaching a gravitational taxation for the bio-fuels.
However, the farmers can produce l'HVP and l'utiliser at their personal ends without having to pay of tax, which lets fear the development of pirate networks of distribution.

bonjour josy
belle image.
