I try shooting this artistic leaves. Although this plant do'nt have flower I find this leaves beautiful. I hope i shot it nicely.

Hi Cris,

A shallow DOF and a dark background (only the leaves are lighted) would have worked better. The parts of the leaves on the foreground (blurred) are also distracting. Try photographing a single leaf or a single "branch".

You can also set the leaf against a white background (a bondpaper would do the job nicely). It would be a nice highkey photo.

Well, I like it. Nice metering and good sharpness, nice depth of field.

You could pay more attention to background, it is equally as important as subject. Even if people don't look at the background, as a photographer you need to think: is it bright? Is it busy? Is it distracting from my chosen subject? A few steps around to the right, and your background would have been that tree, dark and consistent.

Nice work overall though
