[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sugar (Сахар)... Sugar has two kinds: sand and lump sugar. Last is presented on the photo:) Lump sugar associates with time of great and mighty USSR. It has something especial. When I saw it in the shop yesterday- I bought it immediately. It is nostalgia? Maybe, but I was only three years old when this country disappeared- in day of my birth on December, 8th. Now I often joke, that it was a gift:)

А што, гэта самы лепшы цукар, асабіста для турыстаў ды вандроўнікаў як я. Хто пэўны час жыў у СССР, ведае.
Літарку "Х" я бы раструшчыў, маўляў, для кампазыцыі.
...Прыемна зноў успомніць пра СССР, які "светлае плямай ззяе ў сярод цёмнага капіталізму" альбо "светлая-салодкая будучыня, горкая сучаснасць".

My grandparents were born in the extint rusian empire at the turn of 19 century, and fleed to America because of the bloody racial persecutions from the czar.

I allways remember me, being a child and my randpas and grannys sipping their tea from the samovar, with a piece of candy sugar in their mouth to sweet the beverage, so you see lump sugar is a modern thing to me !

Anyway I don't thing they felt any nostalgies from the czar's time
