Catched ten mills in one picture; not unique and you can catch more than ten in one shot.....

Home again after some superb days with my TL-friends. JohnT and Yolanda's hospitality is priceless! Thanks my friends!

Tomorrow my last day with the group, a visit at Aamsterdam.

Here a view of the first day with my friends; teh TL-meet at Kinderdijk. Not a long note for tonoght; I'm quite exheausted, but I'll be back with my replies.

In the WS you find an other view of a mill at Kinderdijk. It was hard to chose, hope you agree.

Anyway, it's not unique, there must be milions of the same (kind) of shots, this is my contribution :-)

Beautiful shot Hans. Great composition with the fence's leading lines and the repeating wind mills. I like the frame choice as well. Nice work.

Hello Hans,
Classic Dutch--looks like a painting. Superb composition with the fence going off to the right and the tall grasses in the foreground. And what a complementary sky!
Get your rest now,
Karen

The diagonal fence on the right corner helps the perspective. Nice view of all these windmills, perhaps not so unique to you since you live there, but certainly interesting to me.
Cheers
Otto

Hi Hans :o)
Very nice panorama with so much windmills ! Impressive :o) A really 'active' shot, with lots of movements and lovely colours. Excellent POV. TFS
Have a nice day tomorrow
Marylou

Lots of windmills and no hills....has to be Holland :-)

I particularly like the wooden fence in the bottom right of the pic, it breaks the scene up nicely and adds extra interest. Another simple and effective shot, Hans - you should put together a calendar or book of your Dutch countryside shots, they are pretty good!

And, if you had used a Canon, they'd be excellent ;-)

Hi Hans,
Excellent POV fo all the windmills with the fence at the bottom right. I have seen some when I was in Holland (way back!, but never so many all together. I also like the one in the WS. Both with great colors and sharpness. TFS
Greetings
Pierre

Great shot my friend, however, you are a great photographer and show to us great images... congratulations... TFS...

Hello Hans!

These ones are certainly more romantic than the new aerodynamic ones spreaded all over the world (^_^). their vocation is not the same of course.

Cool composition , with the fence leading our eye to explore the image from bottom right to middle left.

Well done.
Robert
PS. Nice frame (^_*)

Great shot, perfect moment to catch silhuettes of the windmills in the beautiful cloudy sky.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hello my friend

Sounds like you have all had an exhausting but brilliant time.

This might be a common sight over there but I for one have never seen so many windmills in one image.

Superb capture, good sharp image with excellent colours and a delightful POV.

TFS out your feet and have a superb restful weekend, it sounds like you deserve it

regards Helen

Hoi Hans,
Groeten,
Niek

This is what one thinks about Holland - all the windmills. But I found they have some nice ones in Flanders too. It used to be an important part of life. Well done.

TFS!

Hello Hans:)
I love these windmills and always they are reminding me your Country.
Good shot here - well done. TFS
Tom

Hans, very good choise for the 10-in-1!
Lovely to see. Now I wonder if the visitors think that Holland indeed is only made-up of meadows, clogs, water, boats and windmills.
Well, it sure is not the worst thing that can happen.
Wish you all a lovely day today in Amsterdam.
Take care you all.
Henkie

Hans,
What a great photo!
I think the fence line coming into the frame in the middle is a good idea, it leads my eye into the background nicely, I know it goes off the side but I can imagine it as I see it reappear in the center of the photo. That (to me) is an important part of composition, leading the eye.
This image is aptly named! I have never seen a "real" windmill before, only oil derrick/wells.
I think you have captured the spirit of Holland nicely here.
My only gripe is that you had to use a Nikon.. ;)
You'll learn one day my friend, you'll learn...

Great work Hans....Well done.

Hello Hans ! I really like the composition and technique on this one, the exposure is perfect and the colors are so natural. Very fine work ! Thanks,

Hello Hans,

Terrific shot, very good idea, capturing all the windmills together. Excellent PO, great panoramic view, DOF very good and presentation lovely.
In my view not only the title is ten but the shot is 10/10.
TFS,
Vassilis

Definately my favourite type of photography from you... so pleasant, I can smell the grass! :)

Beautiful Hans, that's really all I can go on to say. All the technicalities are spot on too... and just, nice! TFS.

Biance.

Beautiful composition, colors & details.
I made some changes in workshop. Hope you'd like it.

Groetjes
