The Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lakes National Park, as seen from the summit of the Bears Hump.

A different view looking west from that spot is found in my wife Christan's post Bears Hump View.

After taking this shot, I spotted a couple of guys climbing up the hard way on the sheer rock face. Check this Slideshow Rock Climbing for additional shots, including the mountain climbers.

Levels and curves, downsized.

Beautiful scene well captured Otto.

Hi Otto,
Phuwww...that's a breathtaking view! Excellent attractive colours, and what a height. The rocks on the FG creates a nice depth in this image. Contrast is fine eventunning composition.

Hi Otto,
It is a dream for me to see with my own eyes this breathtaking mountains and panorama! Are they granitic rocks in foreground? That would explain the color and the strong light reflecting on it. The POV, blue colors and perspective are great! Bravo! Annie

I didn't fugire it that high... But the church bellow give the accent immediatly! Impressive view. I like the part in first plant into the water. The circle is incomplete... But it is evident it was one day... Erosion is guilty about it...
