| This is a 'Little Green Bee-Eater', at least that is suggested by my friends who are amateur bird watchers. I found this in the road beside the swimming pool, IIT Kanpur, at around 6:30 am IST. I was not prepared to get this action shot of take off. I was trying to shoot it as sitting on the neutral electric cable. But thanks are due towards my digicam, which has some shutter lag, even in the high speed shutter mode, for actually taking the picture, a few moments later than intended. :) |
