[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Morning dew (or the previous nights rain) on a rice crop.

Supposedly rice was first cultivated simultaneously in different parts of Asia.

Most likely, innovations in the domestication of rice went lock in step with advances in technology, say from the bronze age to the iron age and enabled the growth of kingdoms and large empires.

Today, spectacular improvement in rice yields is one of the key elements thwarting the Malthusian road block, enabling humanity to shoot for 9 billion plus! (Too many, too many.)

There is some kind of serenity and beauty in the rice as well. They are slender and tall, and wave gently with the breeze.

As for this shot, lovely is the right word! I like it for the effect of dim light that it carries, it gives a soft and fresh kind of a look to your subject here! Nice shot!
