Changed my mind, rather than post a third image from Bryce Canyon I am posting an image taken at a reststop along Interstate 70 on our way to Arches National Park. This is an amazing spot that provided a beautiful vista in every direction. I'll be adding a workshop of the view of I70 as it moves east taken from the same spot.

We are going to visit friends north of Sacramento later this morning so there will a break in the road trip postings.

Again, thanks for traveling with us, it has been enjoyable having you along.

PP: RAW image processed in Nikon Capture NX, framed and sized. (I just noticed that when I was typing the info on the image I called it Interstate 80 - wrong it is I70 - sorry about the confusion.)

Hello Daniel,
A wonderful picture of the landscape, very beautiful colors. Wonderful
Greetings and thanks.
Janusz

An impressive shot, your exposure is spot on to show off the great colours in the rocks. Also really like the impressive sky that was there on the day. Actually if I were to make one little suggestion it would be to show more of the sky (if that crop is possible from the original shot). The rocks seem a little cramped in the frame and I think more of the rugged sky would fit in well.

Hey Dad

I don't know if you've left yet. But I see you are posting workshops. Beautiful shot here. The lighting is sublime and of course, the view is as well captured as it is inspirational. You need to stop making me so envious of your road trip. All these TL viewers haven't seen anything yet! I can't wait until you start showing off Page!

Hello Daniel, another great shot from Utah (I wanna go there someday...) of course the landscape is photogenic but the photographer has to do something with it and you did it ! Very good composition and technique. Good colors and contrasts. Good work !

Mario

Hi Daniel.
Wonderful landscape. Awesome light and beautiful colour. Good crop and nice framing. One small nit. You mis-spelt 'border'. Doesn't matter. The image is what counts to me. Very beautiful.
Regards, Steve.

WOW, impresive shot, great view, the colors r amanzing.

excellent light and colours,
an amazing place well captured,

Hello Daniel,
Beautiful nature with the most amazing features!
The colour, the shapes and details... all are very well captured and conveying the impression from this landscape so well...

Neat panoramic view, I like the structure of a multi-layered cake!

Hi Dan,
Both this one and the WS picture are equally beautiful. But the sky is giving this one a very good contrast. This is how I imagine Utah to be, and I love it that you share it with us.
For the first time I get the feeling that I would have loved seeing you use 800 x 800 without any frame at all (haha better still 1600 x 800----just because I want to see still more!)
Thanks
Els

Hello Daniel!

Striking photo ! Great saturation . The cloudy sky makes the shot even more interesting . The Workshop view is quiet ashonishing too. A tilt correction on it, if we look at the BG would be required. Perhaps you could do it with your original size photo and reframe it.

Yes I admit , I do enjoy the ride with you . Keep them coming.
Cheers!
Robert

Now those are beautiful colours Daniel. I love photography, who would have thought you can put so many shades of brown in the same image ?

Great shot !
