[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken with Nikon F801, 70-210 zoom at 210 hand held, ISO 100, [can't remember the speed and F stop] picture scanned into CS, cropped slightly, contrast and brightness changed, shadow filter, framed.

This was a security dog display competition and the dogs performed on and through numerous pieces of apparatus.

You've caught the dog at exactly the right moment! You could not have done any better there. I feel the scan could be a little better with some post processing though... I will post a workshop soon to show how to remove the gray haze...

Tim, a fantastic action photograph. You shot this picture at the perfect time, just whent he dog was in the middle of the rings. WOW... nice. Love the german sheppards. I had a few my last one was a handsome old easy going guy. Take care

Amazing animals... what strikes me is not the fire, but the length and height this dog is jumping... TFS this Tim, you captured her excellently. I like Dan's WS version too.
Put it in my German Shepherds theme ;o).

You are very good at action shot, you have great timing. I wish your scanner could give you better results. In any case very good shot!
