Walking Away 2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Morning all,
This is one I took ages ago. I put the camera down on the grass to take a shot of my girlfriend walking away from me. I like the low PoV and the composition of this, but the background's a bit dull and that sliver of sky irritates me. Anyway, enough of what I think. Taken at Llandogo in the Wye Valley earlier this year. I did mess about with the crop tool and saturation and contrast levels but in the end I just left it as taken apart from resizing for upload. Enjoy!
John.
EDIT: Just posted a version of this in Workshop with the levels adjusted in Photoshop. It's much better. |

I like this one John, very unusual angle. Think you could have tweaked the colours a bit using Levels and I would be tempted to crop out that bit of sky,
Cheers Pez
Hi John
Superb, to get the DOF just right on this one, would have been so easy to focus on the grass or to have too much grass blurred in the front view.
Excellent shot
TFS regards Helen
Hi John,
I like the idea here, IMO I would have cropped some from the top and right of the shot, upped the saturation a bit too.
Tfs Andy

Hi John, I agree about the workshop pic, much better. It looks as though Camilla could fly off if she had a hang glider!
Cheers, Dad
