[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Since I've been on this site ( I'm not sure how long!) I've been loving taking photographs and I'm amazed how far I've come when I look at some of my earlier postings and I'm really looking forward to improving more with help from all you! Anyhow , I have so many hobbies that sometimes they "interfere" with each other! I've posted the coffe/game table I made well now I'm making my son one..but his is a big trunk! I've buildt it and now comes the painstaking task of drawing on the designs before I use my wood burner to etch them in the wood, and then finally paint it. I was looking at my "tools" and thought....hmmm why not? So here it is. A different photo for me so not sure but its what I'm doing so there you go. Thanks for visiting!

its your life story
show it
and you have..
good use of monochrome to integrate the tones and shapes of the original elements
compo is greatly helped by the double diagonal
sometimes things just lying where they are are more photogenic than pre arranged

Hi Donna.Simple and nice B&W picture.
Best regards, Bosko.

Good idea Donna. Good flash of an idea you had there.
Nice symetry too.

Hallo Donna,
Was braucht man mehr für ein gelungenes Bild? Einfach und schön! Toll!

gruß,
Chris

Hello Donna!

i know exactly how you feel. I have to kick myself out of the site often, as I do have others things to do. I am about to take a break as well soon , to catch up late work in my other hobbies and obligations.

Great subject to illustrate your point . The most important thing is to have fun and find happiness in doing what we like to do .

Take care!
Robert

PS. I am more a designer (^_^) than a builder . I have designed a few things at home ( my own office, a few other cabinets and displays ). But my father-in-law is the talented man realizing them . But it is fun to have your real own things madeup (*_^).

Hi Donna, it will be two years December 7th since you joined TL :). Excellent focus here and a wise decision to convert to BW. Well composed and good detail, even down to the knots and grain in the timber. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘No More’. The yacht club just wanted to clean up a bit. I don't know why they couldn't have left at leat 4 posts there to cater for the boats that feature in so many of my shots :)

Hi Donna,
I will try to explain what it did - it made me very curious to read your note - it did draw my attention - now I did read your note and now I would love to see more - love wood, so nice you get a chance to work with it - nice to see more in the WS.
TFS
Els
