Bravo Annie pour cette belle capture . Les arbres en avant plan dans l'ombre donne deux plans séparés à cette composition . Les quelques nuages bien placés ajoutent un bel équilibre à l'image .

Bonsoir Annie, j'aime beaucoup la vue de l'endroit ou tu as prise ta photo.
Ton ciel avec son dégradé de bleu et les nuages qui dégagent beaucoup de douceur ne font qu'embellir la scène.
La netteté de ton image est impeccable, tu fais du beau travail avec ton 400D.

Hello Annie, wonderful shot, very interesting work with shadows and light. If I were you at the moment when you took the picture I would be afraid of the high contrast between the shady and illuminate part of the scene. But you did it perfectly and the result is just simply beautiful.

on distingue à peine le chemin qui descend de la montagne à tes pieds, étant encore dans le côté endormi de la nature au premier plan, je dirais même un peu austère pour aller vers le soleil, les arbres aux tonalités de feu, et la ville, les pieds au bord de l'océan, un grand voyage, en une seule photographie, j'adore les deux nuages qui se sont posés sur la vallée.
Tu as été matinale pour avoir cette luminosité, courageuse.

Hope to see more posts soon, Annie, though I certainly know all about busy weeks. Very nice depth to this. You convey a sense of valley with more scale than I'd have imagined feasible. Nice autumn lighting and colors, too -- though those barren limbs and skies presage winter to come. New shooting challenges for another season, eh?

Quelle joli vallée ensoleillée! Très bon point de vue que cette bèche dans la végétation. Jolie progression visuelle qui nous conduit direcement dans l'aglomération blottie au creux de la vallée tout près de la mer nourrissière. Jolies couleurs d'automne, ciel contrasté et une mer qui nous renvoie le bleu du ciel. Bravo!

I am writing this in English for our colleagues.

Reading your note , I remember one clerk at a tourist center which we have met at La Pocatiêre in Sptember. She told visitors to stay on the main highway, just in case, they would encouter mechanical problem with their car.

Well I must say , I am completely the opposite when I travel. This is a good example why . Dare exploring small roads, back roads and remote localities. You will find gems and beautiful scenery. Specially when you rent a car, the chances of a mechanical problem are very limited. Furthermore today, a lot of the cars are equipped with GPS ! So explore !

The foreground is a bit dark , but I still love the composition , with the road bringing us down in the valley.
