[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The second shot in the series of sand, rock, water and sky.

With this shot I was seeking simplify the composition a little bit, reduce the appearance of rocks on the right, and make the foreground a little tighter and less busy as well.

Exposure: 13 seconds @ f/22

Superb! Very dreamy and well composed picture with the fog on the succession of rocks.
Great colours and dof.
Great work! Yan :)

Very good indeed, Vincent. Excellent exposure control and the line of rocks adds depth and perspective to the image. Well done indeed.

Hi Vincent,
i like the effect of the long exposure :-)
Very interesting appearance.

Well done. Best regards, Daniel

Excellent shot! Great lighting and composition. Well done

i love the soft feel...(not the border)...but i love the photo.

Morning Vincent
When I spotted this thumbnail I knew it would be beautiful once open and I was sure right. It is one thing to get the ocean right but another to capture the beautiful colors of the water. Bravo

Hi Vincent

It was fate that I critique next because my Dad (Boonie) has just critiqued your shot. Another good selection. I like how the rocks act as leading lines that guide my eye from foreground to background. The light is well captured and the clouds add a hint of celestial drama. Nice job.

Mike

Your water photos are awesome Vincent! Really nice details, love the bits of light against the rocks! The water blur is marvelous!

What pulls this through for me is the light in the distance.
It's nice that you can distinguish the landscape in such warm tones, whilst the foreground is the main subject.

Excellent exposure.
Your eye follows the rock from the bottom, to the one above, leaving the frame. The composition could have been stronger.

Hello Vincent,
Great picture, beautiful sea landscape. The long exposure make the mysterious wave, just love it!
Thanks,
Mihaela

Hello Vincent,
You do have a collection of mighty fine pics. I shall come back and peruse longer. The high f22 stop provided the viewers with terrific depth and exposure of this CA scene. Greetings, Danilo

I love that shot Vincent, the composition is very good with those rocks leading the eye to the other side. The long exposure gives it some beautiful softness. Very well done, thanks.
