The carnival of Venice is world famous. There are beautiffull decorated masks. On the streets you can buy them every where. Some are real master pieces.
I will show you some nice examples.

Hello my friend. So you've been visiting Venice. We were there in 1999 and I bought 2 small masks plus 2 small ornamental dolls. I still have them displayed at home.
I love this mask. Well captured, very sharp and clear. Good choice to show it,

Hola Hendrik.
Una interesante esta serie sobre las máscaras del carnaval veneciano.
Imaginación y colorido. Es cierto cuanto he leído acerca de la luz y el color de las pinturas y pintores que durante el Renacimiento se inspiraron en esta ciudad de los canales...y estas son pequeñas muestras, vestigios de aquellos colores.
