Hi Helen, it can be hard deciding what to crop out of an image, but I think showing the lower rose does look fine to me. The little brown marks on the petals could have been cropped off I think, but the beauty of 'mother and child' is quite touching. Super colours and details...

I love this one! I have to agree with you about the partial flower! It does help balance the whole! Perfect sharpness and nicely saturated colours! The raindrops add that extra freshness!

This red rosebud is just beautiful and I share your opinion that the rose on the bottom on which the focus is not, does provide balance in the picture.

Hi Helen, well this is a winner for sure, and apparently everyone else has thought so to. I agree, the bottom rose does add some balance. Water droplets always add a nice touch to flower shots and this looks really beautiful Helen. Some of the droplets have a really nice sparkle from the reflecting light...was this natural or done in PS? The reds are a blood red, very charming...and the back ground color is very complimentory.
