[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This reminds me too much of the atmosphere at the dance halls: Normally the men stand around close to the bar or against the walls while the women patiently sit at the table waiting to be invited! Most men make the invitation from a distance with either a movement of their head or by an exchange of glances and the raising of his eyebrows...

So here we have the female who is patiently waiting and the males who are patiently selecting!

A song which I find appropriate for this photo, taken at Cortes-Leiria:

Private Dancer-Tina Turner (She even has feathers and wings!)

PHOTOFILTRE was used.

I'll be back later.
Thanks for visiting.

UPDATE: Taking another look at this photo, the ducks remind me of the singers on the stage!
The platform they're standing on is used to wash clothes the old fashion way. This is Cortes' hand washing laundromat! (Very similar to that.)

Its a fantastic photo, i think the framework is a little busy for the image itself - i found i was distracted by it, rather than drawn into the image. Perhaps a darker colour would have made the image stand out a little more. Either way - the photograph is great - is the grain effect from the photofiltre?

Hi Lurdes

Great shot! Colorful ducks in direct sun with good BG of white paint, nice composition and pov. I like the trunk and stones in water.

Nice artwork too. Well done. TFS

If you look at it that way, then in the animal kingdom there are a lot of similarities to be seen between their behaviour and human behaviour.
Good evening Lurdes,
Beautiful sunny picture and very inspiring framework.

Hi Lurdes
Along with the note, this photo is very interesting and well explained. you have some imagination.
Nice point of view and fine depth of field.
Congrats.
Serge

A lovely OOB image with wonderful detail on the ducks.
The frame and border is very good but I think the "pillar" extending to the top of the frame distracts from your lovely image. It fights for attention with the lower part of the"stage" which is beautiful in texture and placement and leads the eye into your image. I will just allow the pillar to reach the top border but not extend over it. It also obscures the female duck a little.
Please pardon the long comment on this composition - I am also into creating OOB images and still learning - So regard this as a very personal feeling from me.

Still a very good OOB and the comparison in your description is also good!
