A Final Farewell
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It's a huge adrenaline rush, the massive amps blasting out your favourite songs, these musicians that you worship, just a few metres away from you, the frantic energy, temperatures rising, brilliant lights, pushing, jostling, screaming fans...
...and after the last song, all there is left to do is say a final farewell, and go back out into the quiet cool of the night...
----------------
This was shot at the Apocalyptica show in Toronto, after their final encore.
post-pro: partial desaturation and sharpening, increased grain, frame |

A quick shot, I think. Nice angle but you have done too much PP maybe.
However, it's done in an artistic way and the "foreground" is very nice !

Oh, at closer look, ther's a musician waving his farewell to the folks.... Follow the strings, you'll see him. Stunning guidance lines, Tina, great POV. But whatfor increasing grain? Adds well to the last dying down of vibes in that smokey atmosphere at stage in my opinion... artistic shot in all might fit to my floor walls ;-)
Cool lighting. Excellent composition! Excellent POV too. A great one! JP
my favorite instrument...i like your line perspective a lot, and the light as well, but i cannot really decide whether i like the extra grain or not...in any case thatīs a great shot!
