[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this coot in a biological dead ditch in the city center. I'm always amazed with what they build their nest. In this one I found: a coat hanger, lots of straws, a McDonalds paper bag, plastic red/white ribbon used for barriers,tie wraps, wraps for candy bars etc., etc.

Tech: auto-levels, cropped and adde a frame.

Dat is wel heel erg toevallig, Rinie !
Vanmorgen heb ik ook een meerkoet gefotografeerd en die had ook een geheel eigenaardig optrekje gevonden en zal die binnenkort plaatsen.
Een hele leuke foto heb je gemaakt hier,
dat je zoiets op straat (water) vind, he ???

Hi Rinie, one of the fine things joining TL is that I finally get to rate this one - I guess it was shot during 'the first hunt' ;-). Love the top down perspective and the myriad of forms and the red/white tape leading tio this urban coot and (partially) encircling him. Lovely!
