Hey everyone. I haven't posted in a week or so. This was taken on Tuesday when my soon-to-be-better-half and I finally got some time to ourselves and took a wee trip to Stirling in Castle. The castle sits on an ancient volcanic plug and most of the buildings look as though they are part of the hill. However, the great hall which sits in the centre of the castle, has been recently refurbished and the roof rebuilt with original-design timber beams. The Golden-yellow walls really stand out!
The great hall was the centre of royal life around 400 or so years ago, and the space inside is pretty impressive. I'll try and get a post up at some point.
