[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunshine on a lazy saturday afternoon. Life is slow at this small fishing village by the sea.

The famous Mount (also known as Gunung Puteri) Santubong lies to the right, soaring to a height of 900m ASL.

There is a folk legend about Mount Santubong.

A legend often associated with the mountain is of two beautiful princesses, Santubong and Sejinjang. Santubong was an expert weaver while Sejinjang was an excellent rice tresher. One day, they had a quarrel and exchanged blows. Sejinjang swung her tresher which hit Santubong's cheek. Santubong threw her weaver at Sejinjang, hitting her in the head. Putting an end to the quarrel, the King of Heaven cursed both of them into mountains. Santubong turned into Mount Santubong while Sejinjang was turned into Mount Sejinjang. It is said that Mount Santubong resembles a woman lying on her back.

Sometimes, we trek up this mountain summit in 2 hours, then down by 1.5 hour.

Recently a wooden boardwalk jetty is built, as can be seen at bottom right. There is a school nearby.

The colours are very fresh.
Perhaps composition would work even better if the walkway was not so near the right edge.
Still the exposure and colours are fine :-) Well done.

Hello Bill,
Well captured perspective leaving the bottom left empty. I like the converging perspective of the bridge leading to the lush greenery with activities going on in the center. The puffy white cloud against the blue sky - as you know it is my favorite.
