[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
i shot this lady in Rimbik on my way back from a trek in Sandakphu.

i liked the expression of her face and the pose.

after the shot she became aware of me. i asked her, 'sister, did you mind?' she said shyly, 'no'. i gave her a cake.

Hi indrajit
How nice it is! Well done and well seen. Your comment about this photo is perfect.
Thanks for sharing & have a good continuation.
Saman

A nice shot Indrajit
A well captured moment, very nice composition/ placement of your subject.
Your note doesn't mention but you have obviously used quite a lot of post-processing in this shot, both the selective-desaturation, and brightening her hair against the background.
I suggest that the surrounding wall could be darkened a little - there is some OE on the open window frame.
And when lightening hair, if you colour-correct to include more reds, it will look a little more natural.

Indrajit,

Thanks for visiting my gallery. When I was looking at your photos, this one atrracted me the most. It is a very nicely done portrait like picture. I like the pov and work with the colurs. As saman I also must say I like the notes very well. This is how photos should be made.

The woman moving her watch far from the image, just the opposite on the scene, b & W with colour, nice blue, some grain and details on her hair (contrast with black foreground inside) not good enough. But the image works good and it's a nice one

hello Indrajit,

i love this picture.. the girl is very beautiful. i noticed that in this part of India they look a bit like chinese.. great shot here.. the composition and surrounding are lovely.

tfs and regards, terry

Excellent, Nice portrait with colour and B&W combination.

Hi Indrajit,

I find this a striking photo with the textures of the building and window contrasting with the bright colors of the woman's outfit. She has a very pensive look on her face. I wish you would have shared more in your notes about your processing and location, etc...

tfs,Lisa

This is fantastic angle my friend.
good POV and DOV, the model not look at to camera make this portrait have a strong of characters.
very natural.
very well done.
