[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well this portrait is taken in a street that is disappearing. The big guys of Chengdu want to have a 'clean' city without the small cosy and dirty streets where you can eat different yammy things. This used to be a great street, always busy and fun to go and eat BBQ at 4 o'clock in the morning (after a karaoke).
But one by one the shops have to close down for a bigger project. Kick the poor people out off the city and make the rich even richer. Well this picture is dedicated to those people that MUST leave their house.

My girlfriend and I are leaving for Yunnan province and so after ten days we'll be back with hopefully great pictures.

Cheers folks.

First I wish you a happy time in Yunnan.

How terrible that they are "cleaning up" the city. A lot of the charm will be lost - not to speak of people having to move out and where can they go.

Mooie foto David : kleuren, compo, ..

Jan

Nice expression of old and young. A bit blur on the baby's face but old lady seems ok. Due to movement? Colorful contrast. Good composition. TFS

Your right, David.
But ehh... prefer the age of the mother of the child, haha.
Lovely 'family' portrait.
Best regards from Jan

Hi David,
