Sweet girl

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I traveled to Zee Phyu Gone village, Da Nu Phyu town about 2 hours by bus from Rangoon. My trip was to take the photos of sunflower fields, surrounding area and the villagers. While I arrived the village and taking photos of the field, the school just finished off the day. So, many opportunity with the school children arrived for me and I took advantage of it. The girl name is "May Thu", 11 and 5 grade student. And she is very sweet. When she gave a shy-smile toward me, I captured the moment. The paste on her cheek is called "Tha nat khar" - the smell-good tree Burmese girls use to grind it with water and put on their cheeks.
It was against the light and the sun was hot, so I used the flash to get even with the back light and the background blurred. Crop and adjust the color. You are welcome to improve on it and let me know how you do. I am still learning PS and open to any suggestion. Thank and enjoy. |
