Another interior shot from historic Burnaby Village Museum. (Sorry about the tiny bit of flare!)

This is one of the areas early settler's one room home. It had a hand operated water pump, wood stove, kerosene lamp for light and and a little ladder to a small loft where the family slept.

Built in 1861 back in the days where food on the table, a roof above your head and family by your side was truly a gift and a pleasure.

I love to see the pictures of the past and admire its simplicity.

Thanks Scott

I just love this Scott. The simplicity is well captured and you have indeed brought us back to a slower, simpler time. I like the note telling us all the things there. Just a super posting.
Warm Regards

Hi Scott:
Love the light in this one as well and you nailed the balance of the composition to perfection .... great focus as well .... you did another fine job as usual............Roman:0)

I can see the youth of today living like that Scott. For the amount of light good colour and detail. Nicely composed with lovely textures in the wood. TFS,
David
