the steps of the student union of Manchester university on oxford road are often filled with students milling around.
The annual elections are the most colourful event of the year, with Huge posters, leaflets, mega phones and chalk inscriptions of candidate names on pavements and walls all over uni. Often the leaflets only have the name of the candidates, no policies of any kind are within sight. Becoming elected is the policy.
It's fun to see and be cajoled into voting for one candidate or another...

Tech: I wanted to liven it up, so applied a gradient mask to one layer, then merged with the original. Adjusted in curves and levels to get a more colourful and bright feel to it.
I learnt that taking panorama photos with moving people in is not so easy to line up! There were five photos, but the best result was made with three.

Well Bryan, I am firstly very impressed that you managed to get such a great panorama with moving people in it, secondly, the picture really gives one the impression of being there, it is very much alive with lots of action, colour and drama, it is also a little nostalgic for me as I was born in Basingstoke.;-))
I love the PP work as it has yielded excellent results.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Very well done, great work!

Hi Bryan.
This is a great shot, and could be perfect for TE as well. THe panorame creates a wonderful curve of the building's front, and your work is very colorful and full of details. Good shot.
I do miss your TE shots lately..

I like this kind of picture in which there is a lot of things to look at. Maybe too contrasted.

Hi Bryan, What can I say? I don't know, Well I just love the shot.
