Another in the Stamford series showing one of the many charming back streets of this quaint Lincolnshire town. For our overseas posters the double yellow lines at the side of the street mean “No Parking”

Hola amigo,
hermosa calle,
detalles y sensacional arquitectura,
buen trabajo y pov,
saludos

Hello Michael,
A charming picture of a charming place. But you managed to go beyond the classic postcard. The walking man adds an interesting daily life aspect to your photo and it was a good idea not to wait until he was gone...
Nice, powerful saturation and interesting zoom-effect, that makes this street look really cosy.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hi Michael,
Very nice POV and sharpness . I like the architecture of these old buildings, the signs and the idea of keeping the man in your picture . Well done .

Hi Michael,
Masterful composition. You show us the superb ambiance of this old street with its colored and textured walls and pavement. The walker adds more interest with his blue clothes contrasting with the rest of the image. Very beautifully done! Annie

Michael,

Very nice picture. Nice place to take a picture of this quaint place.

I noticed a light up to the left. Is this light on at night? Can you be in this area at night???. If so, if the light would give enough light at night it may make a very interesting picture of this area.

Just a thought.

Great work anyway!

Fred

Ciao! Could you believe that I found your pic while I'm listening to a Céline Dion's song called "Just walk away"?!?
Good photo of a typical little british village.
have a terrific year!

God perspective here. The placement of the figure could (only IMO), be improved by waiting until he is just past the next drainpipe. No further because as it is, he is just the right size to add to the image without intruding too much.

Hello Michael, that's a beautiful composition and I like the deep tones and contrasts in it. Well done, thanks !

Mario

Hello Michael
The greatest shots are taken in the back streets, they're the roads not taken or the spots not photographed. You show here a beautiful composition. I love the curve that leads to.... a surprise maybe. Nice natural colors of the stones and bricks and the little signs add a little touch of bright colors. Thank you for the information on the double yellow light, I'll try not to forget. LOl.
Thanks
Serge

Hello Michael
An excellent composition and very peaceful and authentic atmosphere.TFS

Michael
Street scenes creates the feeling of adventure and exploring. What is around the next corner or in the shop. Good colour on the stonework.
