Todays another my photo collecting posting. This Dragon fly was taken in the afternoon while i was outing with our treklens members at jalan Subuk such as AJ.Mr Anan.Kulimpapat.Montelo.and also the other members.
for me to photograph this dragon fly is very difficult to captured because can not to be rush to taken must be slowly other wise the dragon fly will be run away or fly away so you miss it.During taken a was using by hand held without tripod.
I hope members like it

Hello,
Great job getting so much details without a tripod! I love that the twig/leaf is pointing down! Great details and perfect DOF... Great notes on how to capture one also!

Tricia

Nice macro and POV . I like the colors and light. Regards. Nil.

Hello Pg Sulaiman Pg Anom,
Ahhh.... my fav; d-fly. Solid clean execution to capture the whole d-fly in superb clarity. Well managed depth at f/4 to eliminate all the busyness around the subject. That dry lalang make it contrasting with your subject in focus. So smile my friend - you just got yoursel a hit!
Regards,
Jusni

This is great. I'll post a couple Chinese dragonflies over the next couple days. Is the background blur something you increased PP? The leaf the dragonfly is sitting on gets really blurry at the top. I can't achieve that effect without Photoshop.
Nice shot, interesting frame.

Salam,

sometimes dried leaf is better than the fresh one if beautifully captured like this as how it distracts my attention from the d-fly. congrats.

Hi Pg

I like the distinct sharp and strong color dragonfly in this macro shot, with a good dried yellow leaf to contrast it.

You have done well for the bokeh of BG green to give it natural forest feel.

Well done. TFS

p/s good to see your group so active together, sometimes you wish to rush home and 1st one to post photos just taken to TL and beat them to it. That is photo passion.
