Silver Creek Falls, Oregon USA
This is South Falls. It is one of 10 major waterfalls found at Silver Creek Falls State Park just north of Silverton, Oregon.
The falls tumble over the edge of one of the six main basaltic magma flows which make up the famous Columbia River Flood Basalts of western Oregon and Washington. It is one of the few places on Earth where basalt, the rock of ocean basins, is found in large amounts above sea level on a continent. |

Beautiful capture. Excellent mood portrayed. Excellent exposure with nice tones. Good conversion to B&W.

Beautiful shot, love it in B&W.

What an outstanding scene. I love the clarity and tones of the picture, as well as your choice of vertical format. Normally, sticks/twigs like that in the corner would be distracting, but I think in this case, it adds/emphasizes the rest of the picture.
Beautiful work.
