I saw again an illustration of the painting by J. Vermeer, "The Girl with the Earring", lately and I remembered an "old" picture of my grand-daughter Joséphine with that same lovely glans in her eyes... ;o)))

Vermeer would be in enthralled wilh you "copy" of his painting. Nice work in creating the "Likeness". The eyes are the key to the image.

J'ai regardé souvent et longuement cette photo aujourd'hui. Toujours avec un égal bonheur! Bravo pour cette complicité avec Vermeer qui aurait sûrement aimé avoir ta jolie petite-fille comme modèle!
Le regard de Joséphine a un grand pouvoir d'attraction que tu as rendu parfaitement. Bravo! Annie

Mijn moeder heete Josepfine (Peppie) and my Sicilian granddaughter is José.
Fientje staat er prachtig op. Zou zo geschildert kunnen worden, nee niet door my, helaas.

helloo Viviane,
this is so clever and funny. Josephine has such soulful and beautiful eyes. I read the book of the same time. I like the colours here and the light but I suppose we must thank Vermeer for that.
