Here is my macro shot of a pink Moth Orchid flower.

About my photo:
Phalaenopsis grows indoor and outdoor in shade. If you cut the flower spike below the last flower, after blooming, it will grow another flower spike of it. It is not uncommon to have a Phal in bloom for 9 month time at a time. No water is allowed to be left standing in the heart of the plant, that would surely kill the orchid. Feed every two weeks with orchid fertilizer, and do not let the plant dry out.

Hi Grace this is a lovely macro shot of your orchid. Must say the orchid also seems to be getting lots of loving care to bloom so beautifully..If I have to be critical on this very good shot I would just say that maybe your white border is a wee bit too close to the orchid.

Itīs not a Phalaenopsis, but a Cymbidium. The flower is not in position correct: the labellum is in low level.
