| My friend and I decided to walk around downtown Spartanburg, SC (our hometown) last month to take some photographs of where we grew up. I have a whole series of pictures from this little trek. This was one of my favorite shots. It's the steeple of the First Baptist Church. I like the composition of it as well as the contrast of the steeple against the deep blue sky. Thanks for viewing. |

Hi Sonja!
This is a nie capture,specially because of the effect it produces making it feel as if it is towering high,though it may not. I think that capturing it in the middle without caring to put much emphasis on the sky at the background would have made it more appealing.
