[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a picture from rural cambodia. There are a lot of plam trees here, and they are almost becoming a national symbol of cambodia. Houses there are as you can see, in rural cambodia. Very small. I took this picture during the day time, and the light was so harsh. So I applied warm filter in it. The dark blue sky is a result from blue filter applied.

Nice shot Sothy.. I would have liked to see the bottom part cropped a little but it is only a matter of preference. Good pp work too give the warm/cool effect. thanks

Superb image, only the horizon isn't fully horizontal.

Hello Sothy!
Wonderful colours in your picture and very good light!
Nice reflexion and clarity!
Best regards!
Lili

Colour looks amazing, nice composition.

Sothy,

Very good use of the filters to improve a daytime shot. I still have to figure how to do all that in Photoshop! Are there online tutorials?

Excellent composition Sothy. Nice shot ! Beautiful colors!

The two things in the FG are a bit distractive . Nice done.

Bro! Nice work. Good use of the various filters to create atmosphere and mood to this shot.
It could be argued that the gradient on the sky is a little too strong, but that's mostly personal taste.
I would also be inclined to rotate the shot a degree or so anticlockwise - there's a tilt to the horizon and a lean to the trees; but easy to correct.
Overall, a great shot

Excellent shot Sothy, with amazing colors and details.
I agree about the horizon and slight tilt, which is distracting, but other than that,
it's a fabulouis capture.
Well done!

Hi Sothy,

I agree with GreenBaron, the two sticks on the bottom is a bit distracting. I also agree with the horizon being a bit tilted. Other than that, the photo is excellent, nice color and great POV. TFS

Hi Scott,
Looking at this image gives me the good memories back from my last trip through Cmbodia. Appafrently it a bit more wet than in th etime I travelled. Anyway a fine picture, with a good composition. I lacks a tad of sharpnes though and the two sticks in the foreground are a bit distractive in my opinion. Overall a fine image of Cambodia; job well done!
Hans

Wonderful colors my friend,
nice portrait and good result.
very well done.

Hi Sothy - the pole on the front left bothers me slightly - it intrudes and doesn't add much.

But aside from that I love this view, very typically Cambodian and makes me want to go back there again soon :-) I like this shot, it makes me feel something and, to me, that is a sign of a good shot.

Hi!
Great shot with warm colors of the water and good contrasts with the sky!
Very nice pic!
