[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my second posting in honor of Lincoln's Birthday (2/12). Next year will be the 200th anniversary of his birth. You are looking at the Volk casting of Lincoln's left hand. See my posting two days ago for information on Volk as well as Lincoln's right hand. Tomorrow I intend to post Volk's life mask of Lincoln.
I have had these three items for quite some time, I used this during my "other life" as a U. S. History teacher. I have only seen one other copy of the life mask and that was at the Lincoln Museum in Ford's Theater, Washington, DC.

Hmmm...the whole image has a museum display quality that is rich with history and time. An interesting item and a good post for Lincoln's birthday month. Well done:)
