[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Singapore River is really clean these days after a concerted clean up over the past 10-12 years. It is popular for small boats like this one to go along to show the visitors to Singapore some of the sights.
WS is a wider view to show the banks.

Hi Murray,

Good off centre compostion sticking too the rule of thirds. This seems to have a green tint all over was there a filter of some sort or is that just as the lighting was?

Cheers
Tom

Once again ... white balance ... it's a good shot, singleminded, well composed, but the WB is an issue.

Three things you can do.

1. Take a test shot, ideally focusing on something white outside, then manually set your camera's "custom WB." That tells it what 'white' is and it adjusts its interpretation of all other colours in the spectrum accordingly.

2. Shoot in RAW and adjust WB manually once the shot is in your PC, using Digital Photo Professional.

3. Shoot in JPEG and use hue correction or similar in whatever software you use - Photofiltre, Photoshop Elements, etc.

Good luck!

interesting and original subject.. well done!! ;)
ciao Marco

Hi Murray
This could have been a very nice shot but like Rew says... the white balance. If I don't know what white balance to take then I just take cloudy, this always gives a warm effect.
Hope you can work on it so you can enjoy your picture even more ;)
Cheers
David
